I've been meaning to write a blogging script for a long time. I think I would enjoy writing an occasional blog.
This first version is very simple. It doesn't have any fancy features. It stores all the blogs in flat files. It lets you add/edit/delete your blogs. And while it does archive them, it doesn't yet have an archive viewer.
The philosophy of all my CGI scripts is simplicity first. All my scripts must be easy to install and easy to customize. They all use bwInclude to display HTML files so that you can visually integrate the script into your web site.
